Woozoo fans are popular partly because their remote controls are genuinely useful — not just gimmicks. But not every model includes one, and there’s some confusion about what the buttons do, how to pair remotes, and what to do if you lose yours. This guide covers everything.
Which Woozoo Models Come With a Remote?
The following current Woozoo models include a remote control in the box:
- Woozoo 5-Speed Air Circulator Fan with Remote (B09B6H2J58) — full-function remote
- Woozoo 8-Speed Air Circulator Fan with Remote (B0DLJ2MDVX) — full-function remote
- Woozoo 3-Speed Desk Fan with Remote (B093C9XNV5) — full-function remote
- Woozoo Globe Fan 2024 (B0D2V3Q9KS) — remote included
The following models do not include a remote:
- Woozoo 3-Speed Desk Fan (No Remote) (B08JHJ69WM) — manual control only
- Woozoo Mini Desk Fan (B09BDDZX12) — manual control only
What Does Each Button on the Remote Do?
- Power — turns the fan on or off
- Speed +/− — increases or decreases fan speed
- Oscillation — toggles auto-oscillation on or off
- Mode — switches between Normal and Natural Breeze modes
- Timer — sets 1, 2, or 4-hour auto shut-off (8 hours on the 8-speed model)
Remote Not Working? Try These Fixes
- Replace the battery — Woozoo remotes use a CR2025 coin battery. This is the most common fix.
- Point directly at the receiver — aim the remote at the small IR sensor on the front of the fan body, usually near the bottom.
- Clear obstructions — the IR signal needs a clear line of sight. Remove anything between you and the fan.
- Reduce range — Woozoo remotes work best within 15–20 feet. Try moving closer.
- Reset the fan — unplug for 30 seconds, plug back in, and try again.
How to Get a Replacement Woozoo Remote
If you’ve lost or broken your Woozoo remote, you have two options:
- Official IRIS USA support: Contact IRIS USA at their website — they may send a replacement under warranty.
- Amazon third-party replacement: Search “PCF-SC15T replacement remote” on Amazon. Several compatible remotes are available for under $15 and work with most Woozoo globe fan models.
Can You Use the Fan Without the Remote?
Yes. Every Woozoo remote-equipped model has physical buttons on the unit itself for all core functions. The remote adds convenience but is never required.
